I was 17 when Martial Arts came back into my life. I developed a true appreciation for it and believe that it helped shape who I am today. I have a black belt in Arjukenpo and Doce Pares Eskrima, and taught Karate and Muay Thai to kids for 6 years. I’ve been competing since 2018 and won multiple 1st place championships in Karate Forms; I love the adrenaline of competing and how it showcases my hard work and my love for the art. I started weight lifting to recover from an injury; that’s when I realized I had a passion for Health and Fitness. I’m certified in Massage Therapy & Physical Therapy Aid and furthering my education in Kinesiology. I like to approach any type of recovery session from an athletic standpoint, understanding that recovery and training go hand in hand. I love helping people while being able to see the results. Making people feel better is the ultimate goal. In my off time I love to go to Disneyland every chance I get. I also enjoy hiking and I collect movies; I'm a huge Star Wars, Marvel and Harry Potter fan. When I’m home you will find me spending time with my cats. Since working at StretchLab I’ve learned the importance of stretching as a form of recovery. I believe it’s important to practice what you preach so this has also taught me to incorporate more stretching into my own life. It’s very rewarding to help somebody improve their quality of life and find relief from their pain.

I grew up playing Football and Basketball most of my life and was always very active. I decided to go to college to get an economics degree and after my first year my brother was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome, a heart defect that caused him to be less active. I saw how it affected his body and this led me to change my major to kinesiology. I found the study of human movement very interesting and became infatuated with how to improve movement not only through sports but everyday life. I currently hold a BS in Kinesiology and I’m a Certified Personal Trainer. I believe StretchLab is the perfect place to make use of my degree by increasing peoples free range of motion. In my offtime I enjoy playing basketball and watching movies. I love to hike and spend time at the beach, or travel whenever I have the chance.

I was about 4 or 5 when I started playing sports and continued through high school. Needless to say I ended up with a lot of injuries, which ultimately prevented me from getting to the next level. I also struggled with conditioning as a kid so I would get fatigued easily and was never the fastest on the team. I decided that I wanted to help other people with injury prevention, weight loss, strength training and overall flexibility and health. This is what led me to pursue my degree in Kinesiology and become a Certified Personal Trainer. I am now continuing my education by pursuing a Masters degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Psychology and Applied Sports Science. At StretchLab I am now able to apply what I've learned by helping people enhance their flexibility and educating them about their bodies. I love connecting with members and learning new stretch techniques; I find it very rewarding to watch the members progression. When I'm not working you might find me playing basketball and drawing out plays for the team I coach. I enjoy going out with my friends and playing arcade games, and I love to shop and cook.

My interest in the human body began when I was 16 and broke my leg playing football. I was diagnosed with a stress fracture and was in a cast for almost 2 months. Of course I had to do Physical Therapy and at that point I decided maybe I would become a physical therapist. I enrolled in the Athletic Training program at CSUN and thought I might focus more on Athletes but eventually broadened my spectrum because ultimately I want to help everybody. My goal is to help people feel the way they felt in their body before their injuries or diagnoses. I am currently getting my Masters Degree in BioMechanics which is the physics of the human body, and applying my knowledge at StretchLab by helping people improve their mobility. I love meeting different types of people everyday at StretchLab, listening to their stories and getting to know them. Outside of work and school you might catch me watching football or playing video games. I also like trying new foods, my favorite is anything asian.

My fitness journey started when I was about 7 playing football. I played football up until high school, during my high school years I fell in love with Track and Field. Being a dual athlete playing sports all year around anybody would tire out due to overworking myself, due to this I had gone to physical therapy. I’ve always been fascinated with “why” we do things. This led me to majoring in Kinesiology and learning more about the body in order to help athletes with their rehab to prevent injuries and teach those who want to learn. I recently graduated with that degree. I’ve been training throughout my years in my undergraduate. I’ve been training for 2 years. I’ve also worked in Physical Therapy clinics as an aide. I’m currently interested in massage therapy and want to pursue a career as a massage therapist or a physical therapy assistant. At Stretch Lab I love how I can utilize my background to help improve the lives of those who walk through those doors. I’ll see you around and I hope to work with you!

I became interested in human mechanics and how the body functions as a young child playing sports. I grew up playing soccer and knew that I wanted to stay involved in sports in some capacity, so I decided to major in Kinesiology - Exercise Science at CSUN in hopes of becoming a physical therapist. During my undergrad, I became involved in biomechanics and motor control research which further fueled my curiosity and excitement about the human body. Currently, I am an M.S. candidate in Biomechanics and a physical therapy aide. My experience and knowledge in both research and physical therapy allow me to help people at StretchLab obtain their desired goal and improve their quality of life. During my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, watching new shows, and watching women’s soccer.

I entered the Marine Corps not knowing much about the body. But early in my career, I found that yoga helped to open my body, relieve injuries, and helped control my breathing. From then I began exploring more and more elements of fitness. On my exit, I obtained my personal training certificate and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course. Now, after completing my music degree, I have dedicated my time to helping others in their journey to live strong, mobile, mindful lives. From indoor rowing and cycling to yoga and stretching, and everything in-between. I have found that the more I give, the more I enjoy this life of fitness. I enjoy Aerial circus training (trapeze, fabric, straps, etc.) and performing/practicing my music instruments & partner acrobatics. I also like drinking coffee with a mind-opening book in-hand.

I was always an athlete. I ran track and played high school and collegiate football so naturally I segued into a life of body work. In college I was inspired by my strength coach to delve into Kinesiology because I was fascinated with the process of helping someone improve their body. I was intrigued by all aspects of fitness, not just performance but also rehabilitation. I did my internship at a Physical Therapy practice where I learned more about how the body itself is supposed to functionally work and how to build a good foundation for a quality of life. I decided to work at StretchLab because I thought it was a great way to further expand my knowledge on how to help people improve their lives. In my personal life I enjoy playing video games and spending time with friends and family. I also like to spend my time at amusement parks or watching movies (my favorite is Guardians of the Galaxy)

I spent 2 ½ years in the Army as an Air Traffic Controller. During my time in the service I developed back issues from doing ruck marches and carrying extensive loads. This was a pivotal point that pushed me in the direction of health and wellness. I came home, enrolled in UAV and obtained my License in Massage Therapy. Growing up I always had a touch for massage and It was something that came very natural to me. I was also infatuated with chiropractic care and this is what led me to becoming a body work professional. I wanted to assist other people on their wellness journey’s. At StretchLab I love the versatility of everybody’s background, it gives me the opportunity to learn new ways of helping people from different perspectives. In my personal life, If I'm not at the movie theater I'm likely at a music festival or traveling and exploring..
