My passion for physical health stems from my love for movement. After dancing for many years, I pursued a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in dance from UCCS. In 2015 I became a certified yoga teacher and have loved sharing the benefits the practice. My background has not only inspired my love for the field of health and wellness, but has also helped me to deepen my understanding of biomechanics and stretching techniques. My goal is to continually increase client’s range of motion, improve posture, and reduce pain/ injuries. I look forward to helping you find your best self here at StretchLab!

After graduating from Colorado College in 2021 with a degree in Biology and Kinesiology, as well as finishing my journey as a Division 1 soccer player, it only seemed fitting to continue expanding my experience with the human body here at StretchLab. I am also an Exercise Physiologist and spend many hours in Physical Therapy clinics as I aspire to attend PT school in the near future. The body's network is vast and complicated, but I love piecing together the connections and creating a great plan of action to make sure your body can function pain free, and also prevent future injuries. As a California native, I've loved exploring Colorado over the last few years and am often in the mountains skiing, hiking and backpacking!

Lisa is a certified yoga, meditation guide and practitioner with over 6 years of experience, and over a thousand hours of teaching and continuing education. She is also a certified Nutrition Therapy Master helping to create wellness through movement, meditation, and nutrition. Preferring to teach yoga that contains challenging or restorative poses over high intensity practices; she believes that when we begin to slow down and utilize yoga to create presence, it can not only stimulate the body, but soothe the mind, and soul. Becoming a certified Flexologist has created another avenue to tap into the intelligence of the body through assisted stretching. Yoga is an active way of not only stretching the body but building strength and balance. While working one on one with a stretching program is a passive, but interactive way to bring greater range of motion, increased body/mind awareness, and an overall sense of wellbeing. She believes that within the role of Flexologist, she has found even more opportunities to do what she loves, and help people move beyond their injuries and limitations to find more flexibility not only in the body, but in mind.

I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach in 2018 to support people in becoming the best versions of themselves. My area of expertise includes providing corrective form and technique in weight training with a strong emphasis on injury prevention and recovery specifically geared towards women. I joined StretchLab to grow and develop as a fitness professional within the industry and provide my knowledge of how the body works as a unit to make you feel your absolute best. When I’m not at StretchLab you can most likely find me weight lifting at the gym, walking my two pups, or enjoying alone time at a local coffee shop. My hope for when we work together is that I can help improve your flexibility, mobility, strength and overall minimize any problem areas so your body can function at its full potential with a pain free life.

I graduated from MSU Denver in 2021 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in pre-health care. During my time as a student, I had the opportunity of working in home health care, allowing me to gain perspective on lives behind closed doors. I learned to be attentive, present, and accepting of the many people I cared for. I brought this philosophy as I worked with patients while being an Exercise Physiologist. My goal is to create a space in which my clients feel welcomed, comforted, and understood. I am continuing to find more ways to progress my knowledge as I pursue my education as an aspiring PT. As a Colorado Native, I enjoy setting up my hammock, yoga in the park, and looking for the next best bite to eat.

I have always loved to move my body whether it's playing volleyball, running, hiking, or doing yoga. At the University of Wisconsin, I studied Zoology which allowed me to look at the body from an evolutionary perspective with an emphasis on neurobiology. I also have experience as a personal trainer and certified nursing assistant where I worked in a neuro-ICU as well as home health. Now, I am pursuing a career in physical therapy where I hope to explore the connections with my other passions for yoga and neurobiology. At StretchLab, I hope to help you connect with your body and learn how to be a more informed user. My practice as a flexologist is largely influenced by my yoga practice through which I have found greater resilience to the aches and pains we all experience in daily life. I look forward to meeting you on the bench and helping you realize what your body is capable of.

I played competitive volleyball growing up and enjoy weight training and helping others start their fitness journey and grow their confidence. I love supporting and encouraging others to be the best version of themselves which is why I am so happy to be at StretchLab helping people recover, prevent injury, and improve their quality of movement in day to day life. The joy of seeing people progress is one of my favorite things. Outside of StretchLab I enjoy going to the gym, taking workout classes with my Grandma, hiking, drinking coffee, and working on my Pilates Teacher Training! I have been personally and professionally involved in the fields of fitness and healthcare for nearly 45 years prior to joining Cherry Creek Stretch lab as a flexologist. Shortly after earning a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin, I moved to Washington DC to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Maryland and worked as a Milieu Therapist for the National Children’s Hospital-Acute Psychiatric Inpatient center. I soon found that my path lied elsewhere in the Chiropractic profession and moved to California to enter Southern California University of Health Sciences where I completed my DC degree. Following several decades of practice, my family and I moved to Aurora where I decided to retire from practice and pursue my passion for fitness. Overtime, I became certified as a CSCS (Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist)through the National Sports and Conditioning Association, a NASM CPT (certified personal trainer), PES ( Performance Enhancement Specialist), a CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist) and a certification as a Biomechanics Specialist with the National Exercise Strength and Exercise Association. In 2005, I established a personal training business called RAWTIME fitness, specializing in functional training and conditioning, which I continued to operate until 2018. Also during this time , I completed a certification in Functional Medicine with Functional Medicine University and in August of 2022, finished a certification as a Health and Wellness Coach with the Functional Medicine Academy of Health and Wellness, the subject of which has become my new interest and passion. Stretch lab has allowed me an opportunity to merge all of what I have learned and the experience I have gained into a means by which to help those seeking the incredible healing benefits of assisted stretching. I truly look forward to allowing me the opportunity to help you relieve the stress and tension so prevalent in our world.

My love for movement and fitness comes from competing in multiple sports like baseball, football, and basketball from my little league days through high school. I realized early on the importance of living an active lifestyle and the impact it has on us physically, mentally, and spiritually. After graduating from Kansas State University and working and travelling around in the hospitality industry for some years, I decided to pursue my passion for movement and shift into the world of health and fitness. Working out and being active have always been constants for me no matter what stage in my life I have been, and I want to help others find the same joy in moving their bodies. I have been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer since February 2023 and I am very fortunate to now work as a Flexologist at Stretchlab. Helping people learn things they never knew about their bodies is always a wonderful feeling, and knowledge of the human body is seemingly never-ending so I enjoy actively learning from others whenever I can. When I'm not in the studio I enjoy golfing with friends, hiking, exploring local breweries and bites, live music, snowboarding, learning something new, and relaxing at home with my cat, Luna.

I have always loved working with people, after obtaining my undergraduate at Auburn, my masters at University of South Florida and PhD in exercise science at Auburn University I taught for several years as an assistant professor and realized I wasn’t working with people enough and needed more interaction. I want to use my extensive knowledge of exercise science and kinesiology to help people with their stretching needs, stretching is an invaluable tool that everyone needs. Becoming a Flexologist was an easy career move as I wanted to ingrate a hands on experience that can be educational and relieving at the same time for you. I have always been into sports, playing baseball and tennis the most, I played tennis at Auburn University. I am a military brat and have traveled the country quite a bit. Through that I found my love for Colorado and the mountains. I enjoy weight training, gaming, walking my husky and golden retriever and anything that involves being outside. Hello! My name is Joshua Cummings and I’m from Lancaster, CA. I earned my degree at The University of Chico State in Exercise Physiology in the fall of 2020. I ran track and field in college and stretching has always been an important part of my life. In my spare time you can find me outside in the sun either running, hiking, cycling, or rollerblading. I also enjoy going to the park for a walk. During my downtime I like to relax at home and read a book or catch up on a podcast and snuggled up with my cat named Eleven. I really love the client interaction piece here at StretchLab and the different stories each individual carry with them. I have aspirations to go to Physical Therapy school and I am excited to build connections with clients while providing knowledge and education to help them achieve their goals.

After graduating from Stony Brook University in New York with a Master’s in Athletic training, I wanted to expand my skill set to all kinds of people rather than just athletes… because we all need to stretch! Working at Stretch Lab is great because it allows me to utilize my knowledge in a way that I can make a difference in people's lives. I am a huge advocate for movement as it is essential for keeping us healthy and away from injury. I also love that I get to help people do what they want to do! I love to spend my free time exploring CO, snowboarding, hiking, and hanging with my pup :)
