      I have always been very active, and love staying fit by working out and playing basketball. With a degree in Kinesiology, I have a solid working knowledge of the body and how to keep it working as it should. That training combined with my background in strength and conditioning and functional movement has prepared me for my role as a Flexologist. I love helping people with their goals at StretchLab; watching them learn and make progress feels amazing! Some of my fave stretches are the piriformis, lumbar rotation and neck stretches. I’ll show you how to gain more freedom and mobility with these stretches and more. Let’s set some flexibility goals and get you moving better!

      My love for fitness started on a weight loss journey to be healthier. Now as a Certified Personal Trainer and Flexologist, I am helping people feel better in their bodies too. I love seeing clients make progress and having their daily lives improve through stretching. It’s amazing to help teach them how and why it helps, and that it works for any age and any level of fitness. Some of my favorites are the lumbar rotation and neck stretches. The StretchLab team and membership here are just amazing! A few fun facts about me: I played roller derby for 7 years, have lived in 5 states and love to do anything active out in the sun. I love meeting new people and look forward to connecting (and stretching) with you.

      I am a certified yogi and now a certified Flexologist. My personal mission is to cultivate a space for personal and collective development. I believe we were born to evolve, and I know it is much easier to grow when you have help! Stretching leads to greater flexibility, and flexibility in the body leads to improved neuroplasticity in the brain. Both are so crucial to have. My background in yoga taught me attention to the breath and symbolic language that I use a lot while stretching on the bench. I am enthusiastic about a holistic life approach, Jungian psychology, and holiday gatherings. I don’t believe in being “bored”, and I very much like the word “curious”. And people, I like people.

      I have played soccer ever since I can remember, and I was always curious about how the body worked. This led me to learn more about the importance of living a healthy and balanced life and complete my degree in Exercise Science. I love helping others and I am able to do that as a Flexologist. I am not only able to help people reach their mobility goals, but improve their overall quality of life. Stretch training is for everyone and we customize programs to meet specific needs, for everyone from athletes to people working from home. One of my favorite stretches to loosen up is the forward fold. Outside the studio, I’m hanging out with family, playing soccer or working out, and fishing when I find time. Hope to stretch you soon!

      I believe that healing is supported by movement. My background in yoga is what lead me to StretchLab as I believe there is power in flexibility. I am a 200RYT certified yoga teacher and now a Flexologist. I am passionate about helping people improve their physical and mental health and am able to do that during our sessions on the bench. It is very fulfilling to see clients improve their daily function and quality of life! My favorite stretch is neck flexion – our shoulders, back and necks carry so much tension. Outside of the studio, you can find me practicing yoga, swimming, dancing or singing - all things I really enjoy. I look forward to stretching with you and creating positive change in your body and daily life!

      I’ve been involved in sports all my life so being physically healthy and fit was always a priority for me. My interest in pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at SF State was sparked by a high school physiology class. I have coached youth sports and managed rec programs at UCSF, which has all led to a passion for working with people and making an impact in their day! The hands-on work we do at StretchLab helps people live their best lives by improving range of motion and function (my favorite stretch is spinal rotation, amazing tension reliever). I love learning, and it’s meaningful to me to enjoy what I’m doing. I also love traveling (I’ve been to 45 countries!), new music and discovering new hiking trails with my dog, Dex.

      My interest in health and wellness began with high school sports, and an injury that led to physical therapy. I became fascinated with the body, how it works and the importance of function and mobility – a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science followed. It’s meaningful for me to be making a difference in people’s lives and help them feel good. At StretchLab, I’m able to work with all kinds of people. Hearing their stories, creating an individualized stretch program and helping them move better so they can do the things they love in life is really fulfilling. My interests outside of work are hiking, lifting weights and hanging out with my brothers. We grew up on the East Coast, but are now happy to call the Bay Area home!

      I have always been energetic and that inspired me to be active. I realized my passion for health and wellness through massage school, and now I am a Certified Massage Therapist and a Flexologist. Practicing bodywork is an honor, and I find meaning in what I do because I am able to hold space for others and help them heal and regenerate. The best part of StretchLab is the people! Interacting with clients from all walks of life and having a super supportive team is amazing. My favorite feel good stretches are piriformis and hip flexors, spots that are often tight. A little about me…I love the outdoors, spending quality time with people I love and traveling to tropical places (though a trip to Switzerland is also on my list!). Stretch you soon.

      I got into health and fitness through pursuing ballet professionally. I have a deep curiosity for human movement on a fundamental level and have had several mentors from the worlds of bodywork, physical therapy, and kinesiology who have helped me to develop my understanding. I am compelled to help people realize how rare and valuable they are, and to encourage uniqueness. This blends wonderfully into my work at StretchLab, as each body is unique and tailoring solutions for each individual is extremely rewarding and fascinating! When I’m not stretching and diving deep into movement, neuroscience and autism advocacy, I am involved in a number of special interests: teaching and performing rap, drawing cartoons and all things that center around creative expression! Let’s stretch and get you feeling better in your body and mind.

      I lead a very active lifestyle and have been involved in multiple sports from a very young age. I have a BS in Kinesiology, an MA in Coaching Athletics and Admin and experience in coaching several sports. My history in teaching and athletics has led me to a focus on helping others with their health and wellness goals. At StretchLab, I get to share my experience and knowledge in a caring and supportive space. We are helping others every day, and continuously learning at the same time. My goal is to provide a great stretch experience for everyone who walks through the door. Personally, I try to balance relaxation with activity: I play competitive ultimate frisbee and adult league ice hockey and try to keep up with our 90lb Great Pyrenees pup.
