      Lead Flexologist
      She is a fitness professional with several areas of expertise including core training, Pilates, weight training and Flexibility. Currently working  as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and corrective exercise specialist. It is her passion to help clients achieve greater mobility and flexibility by identifying compensations in overactive and under active muscles while also creating a customized plan geared towards their specific needs. Mary's objective is to help people achieve their ultimate health and fitness goals by meeting people where they are. She has been a fitness coach for over 9 years, and loves helping others to discover their greatness within. With the valuable knowledge, insight, and skills gained, she is able to help clients of all levels reach their peak performance, flexibility, and strength potential. Outside of personal training and being a flexologist, some of Mary's hobbies include creating natural shea butters with essential oils, working out 4-5 days a week, attending webinars, and CEU courses to gain additional knowledge that will allow her to better assist her clients. Mary has a four year old mixed Labrador retriever who loves to watch TV and drink gallons of water.

      Nick (he/him) recently moved to the city from Southern Indiana, receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre from Ball State University. Here he pursued an emphasis in dance and movement and has embodied that within his work at Stretch Lab. Nick has completed over 1000 stretching hours while being at the Old Town location. He enjoys moving his body in any way he can. Whether it is running by the lake, working out in the gym, or dancing in a musical. Being at Stretch Lab has given Nick the opportunity to explore mobility and flexibility beyond his own body, but focusing on helping others reach their goals, which has been the most rewarding part of his job here.

      Born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Alexa is currently pursuing a masters degree in Philosophy and Bioethics from Depaul University. Prior to Stretchlab, she was a competitive athlete participating in the sports basketball, rugby and golf. Alexa has a background in Physical Therapy and currently hold a group fitness certification. In her free time you can catch her on a plane going on a next adventure or in the streets of Chicago looking for the best food spots! Being a part of Stretch Lab not only allows her to build meaningful interactions with each person that walks into the studio, but also help those individuals meet their goals with mobility.

      Pronouns are xe/xyr or they/them. Hannah has been living in Chicago for over a decade now, originally moving here from northern Indiana to study oil painting at the American Academy of Art. Hannah’s diverse career background turned towards body work when they received a certification to teach yoga in 2020. Outside of work Hannah frequently travels, goes backpacking and bike touring, builds custom bicycles and engages in Chicago’s active and varied bicycle cultures.

      (He/Him) Moving back to the area from central Ohio, Edward is happy to be back in the Chicago area reconnecting with the city and friends. Receiving his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, Edward is excited to work hands on with clients, working towards their own mobility goals! Understanding that everyone has their own vision of Health and Wellness, Edward has spent his career in assisting with preventative behaviors and encouraging lifelong fitness and mobility either as a Exercise Physiologist or as a Health and Wellness Coach. Edwards enjoys staying active himself and can often be found jogging on the 606 trail and is ready to experience the Chicago Summer everyone talks

      Mia (she/her) comes from a movement and performance background, with 18 years of experience studying various forms of dance, theatre, and aerial acrobatics. Originally from South Dakota, recently moved to Chicago after receiving two degrees in Theatre Performance and Dance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Having encountered a wide variety of stretching techniques in her time studying movement, Mia is very passionate about helping people improve their flexibility while respecting and celebrating their body and its individuality. To Mia, more mobility means more ways to move, which means more ways to find joy! Outside of Stretch Lab, Mia can be found performing on stage, exploring new places around the city, and spending time with her beloved cat Cleo.

      Emily (she/her) is new to Chicago, having recently moved here from her home town of Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a professional dancer and dance teacher, and holds a Bachelors of Arts in Dance Pedagogy from Butler University. Having over 20 years of training in ballet, modern, and contemporary dance, Emily has a real love and appreciation for movement and the incredible things our bodies are capable of achieving. Through her personal exploration of movement and her experience teaching, she understands the importance of flexibility in relation to each unique individual and their body. Emily loves exploring the city, walking around the museums, finding new restaurants, and when she's not on the stage, catching as many performances as she can from the audience.

      Group Stretches are led by one of our highly trained Flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches and teach proper stretch tool use.

      One on one session with a Flexologist

      One on One

      A 25 or 50 minute one-on-one stretch customized to your specific needs, focusing on problem areas or targeting certain muscle groups.
