      Master Flexologist
As a Master Flexologist for Stretchlab, Kevin coaches and trains new Flexologists regionally. He's been with Stretchlab since 2018 and started at Minnesota's first location, Plymouth. His years of experience are evident in his outstanding stretch! In his own words: I played a lot of sports when I was growing up, and like so many people, I had injuries along the way. Learning to work around the injuries inspired me to work with individuals with similar experiences. I specialize in TRX, golf, and soccer fitness. One of the most enjoyable things about working with clients is to see them establish preventative care, which is what brought me to StretchLab.

I have had a lot of exposure to the benefits of flexibility training due to my clinically related background experience. I am a licensed physical therapist assistant who specializes in functional movement, medical and senior exercise and orthopedic conditions. I also hold certifications in personal training (HomeFit Strength and Wellness), TRX Sports Medicine Suspension Training, and Functional Movement Systems. Outside of the studio, in addition to spending time with my family, I love going on adventures which may include kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, weight lifting, motorcycles, and travel! StretchLab allows me the perfect opportunity to continue to pursue my passion for encouraging and helping others achieve their goals and live healthier, more active lives through freedom of movement.

After working for 26 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant, I have learned how important movement is to our daily lives and how it can achieved through dedicated care. I am passionate in working with people, learning their stories, and helping them achieve their goals of living a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, walking, boating, and music: listening, singing, playing piano, and my latest, learning guitar.

Although I have always been active and enjoyed sports, I got into fitness because I needed to be strong enough to keep everyone safe during my autistic son’s problem behaviors. Wow, does strength feel good! I soon sought my personal training certification and began helping others to feel as good as I did. I have enjoyed coaching both individuals and groups working toward their goals, whether that be fitness, fat loss or simply feeling better. Throughout my life I have worked with older adults in various health service capacities and saw firsthand how sad and frustrating it is when a person can no longer move the way they once had. I became a Functional Aging Specialist and discovered the great joy of helping people feel young again through movement and strength. I believe moving our bodies in all the directions they can go as often as we can is a key factor in maintaining or achieving a high quality of life.

I graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul in December of 2021 with my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. Playing sports since I was a very young age helped steer me in the direction of exercise science. As I worked through my degree program I continued to fall in love with health and fitness overall. I started to exercise and weight train regularly, and by doing so I learned how imperative rest and recovery are to the human body. Being able to live a quality, healthy, and functioning life is something important to me. This is what ultimately directed me to the field of helping others do the same! Becoming a physical therapist has been an aspiration of mine since high school. StretchLab is a great way to help others improve their lives by making daily activities easier - very similar to physical therapy! In my free time, I enjoy weight training and outdoor activities along with playing, coaching, and watching basketball!

I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, and I'm a certified personal trainer through ACE. My favorite part of working in the wellness field is sharing what I've learned with people to help them achieve their goals. Outside the studio, I love to compete in anything I can: sports, chess, card games, etc. If I can win, I'm in!

I earned my B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from St. Catherine University and I’m a certified personal trainer through AFPA with an emphasis of whole system wellness. I’m a lifelong athlete participating in a large variety of sports and weightlifting for over 16 years. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing anything out in nature, staying active, cooking/baking, and traveling when I can. I love working with people to help meet their fitness goals, no matter where their starting point is. One of the best mottos I use is ‘motion is lotion’ and that goes for stretching. I’m here to help people increase their range of motion, improve their performance in activities, and create a lasting habit to a healthier life.
