I have been a yoga instructor since 2018. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. I am also a barista which I thoroughly enjoy! I love playing with and taking my Bernese Mountain Dog, Apollo, to do anything outdoorsy. I love biking, drinking coffee, traveling to exotic places, and hanging out with friends at musical events. What I love about StretchLab is the opportunity to showcase my skills from my degree. It also gives me more insight into how to properly cue stretches and how they should feel in the body to better assist people in their daily activities.

I have been practicing yoga for the past 13+ years and received my yoga certification while traveling in Costa Rica. I have a deep passion for holistic health; by eating clean, making my own herbal remedies and incorporating meditation & breath work daily. I am trained in guided meditations and pranayama breath work. Currently, I’m learning sound healing and will be bringing it to my yoga clients! I truly love seeing my clients start their healing and recovery journey. Observing them take their power and energy back through the freedom of movement, brings me so much joy. I live for traveling and experiencing new cultures and ideas. In Denver, I am often hiking, backpacking, camping, enjoying water sports, arts at the park and listening to live music. I am a huge fan of the culinary scene in the city and especially love creating my own healthy gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and vegan recipes. StretchLab gives me the space to use my knowledge to help others become more aware of their bodies, movement and energy. I appreciate every opportunity I get to help my clients reach their goals for pain management, mobility, flexibility and stress relief.

My fitness journey started as a dancer being formally trained in contemporary dance methods and classical ballet for 15+ years. I’ve been certified through NASM and personal training clients for the past 8 ½ years with a focus on functional movement. Throughout my career I have also taught group fitness classes ranging from Barre, Reformer Pilates, and circuit style training. I am also a Certified Nutrition Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. With my eclectic background in the health and wellness space I believe a holistic approach is what truly makes up our wellbeing. In my spare time I love hiking, biking, kayaking, SUP boarding, weight lifting, yoga, binging space documentaries, coffee shop surfing, and exploring the culinary tastes of Denver any chance I get! I love working with clients at StretchLab LoHi because I get to build one on one relationships with people. I also love the science behind the stretch and helping clients receive that basic necessity of human touch. Getting to see clients feel good again in their bodies is why I’m excited to do the work that I do.

In my free time, I enjoy my own yogic and Ayurvedic practices, Pilates, traveling, spending time with friends in nature and seeing live music! I am so excited to have Assisted Stretching at StretchLab as part of my offerings, as I believe it is an important part of long lasting, holistic wellness.

Nolan grew up in Dallas, TX with an education in both the arts and sports. He found classical ballet as a blend of each discipline and he specialized and excelled at partner work. He was a scholarship student at the Juilliard School (BFA Dance, ’07) in New York City where he studied numerous classical, modern, and improvisational dance techniques as well as anatomy and kinesiology, and various body-mind centering, bodywork, and alignment techniques. He moved to Aspen, CO, and joined the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet where he performed as a leading member for 8 years, in galas and festivals across the world. He has performed at the Kennedy Center and at Black Rock City, has hiked throughout Egypt and Jordan, and has rafted down the Grand Canyon. He is currently a certified yoga teacher and is attending Naropa University’s master’s program in Somatic Counseling: Body Psychotherapy. Over the last 13 years, he has volunteered with a disaster relief organization called RETREET in community tree plantings across the US.
